Youth Outreach Worker
Students can see the Youth Outreach Worker for any issues relating to their social and emotional well-being. Students can see the Youth Outreach Worker for support if they want to talk about school stress, bullying, symptoms of depression, anxiety, poor self-esteem or body image issues, relationships problems, issues at home, school concerns, and other life challenges.
To register/access service: Students can access services on their own or school staff can make a referral. Students can request services through a confidential self-referral drop box located in their Guidance office. The easiest way for school staff and community partners to make a referral is in person, by email or by consulting the student and then placing their name into the drop box.
Cost: All services are free of charge and open to any student.
Locations: Collingwood Collegiate Institute, Jean Vanier Catholic High School, Stayner Collegiate Institute, Elmvale District High School, Collingwood Learning Centre, Collingwood Alternative School
