Free fresh produce available
Operates two community gardens and a greenhouse to provide food to the community. Produce from the greenhouse will be available once a week at Heritage Park.
The two gardens are available for self-harvesting from May to October.
First garden is located at Heritage Park. Second garden is located at Sunset Point Park, between the volleyball courts and the playground.
Food Banks – Collingwood & Area
Food banks provide food items on an emergency basis to individuals and families in need. Banks usually provide a one to three day supply of food, once a month to once every three months, per individual or family. Identification for each family member and proof of income and/or residency may be required. Most food banks distribute baby food.
